Question

Why can I not print my e mails with my new computer and printer using windows 7. Best Buy Geaks tell me the printer is working right also the computer will not send e mails to the printer. They went on line and found everyone who had aol had the same problem. I need to print instructions of aol e mails when sent to me from my office. Please help. cliff XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX

I can print from other programs. Printer is HP Photosmart C4795 Using free version of AOL It goes to where you can click preferences etc, then nothing hsppens. I had no problems with my old printer and old lap which had Windows XP, the new lap top has Windows 7

OK I am trying to help you I gave you two different ways to download what you need for the machine. One of which will download directly once you click on the link. Please let me know what exactly happens hwne you click on it so i can help you.

I have been told by the geaks at Best Buy that I don't need to download anything onto my computer, the problem is with AOL. so I don't want to put anything unnessary on my computer.

The download is the driver for the printer without it your printer will never work on the computer. Also I suggest going to a smaller PC shop geek squad charges 3 times the price of a smaller tech shop. Also if it was to do with aol you could print from other programs you told me that you could not. That means aol is not the problem.

I can print from other programs and I just solved the problem my self. I downloaded Java and now it works just fine. I wonder why no one thought of that. thanks cliff
