my husband fell last night and got hurt in the left side.now his left side hurt but also he has tingling in his hand

Hello,

Which part of the body got hurt when he fell?

Is there any swelling, redness? tenderness?

When the tingling sensation did start?

Is it affecting the whole of left hand or part of it?

Did he lose consciousness ?

he slipped last night and fell on the left side of the rib cage on the handle of the bus seat.it hurts a little when he breathes and when he touches it hurts more.but since when he woke up in the afternoon his left fingertips tingle.He said that when he fell he fell a little lightheaded.He is at work right now and doesn't want to go to the hospital.what do you think? Thank you for the information,

Tingling sensation can come from a trauma to nerve supplying the hand & fingers.

Pain on breathing & touching the rib area can be due to injury to ribs/soft tissue or underlying structures like pleura.

But if he feels lightheadedness, he should go to ER for an examination.

Lightheadedness can come from any bleeding inside, fall of blood pressure which needs to be excluded.
