my anti virus definitions is outdated, my renewal date is 3/9/2010. I have run live updates several times but it still comes up 9/23/2009. Why is it out of date and how can i fix it??

Hi,
it seems that live update is not able to contact with update servers.
Please uninstall all Norton and reinstall it. It will replace old liveupdate. Try updatind then.
it will resolve the issue.

To uninstall, use removal tool
You can download it from
http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039
reboot your computer and reinstall it.
To reinstall, use your installation disk or download from your symantec account online.
