Question
Georgia State Board of Workers' Compensation issue: I have been subpoenaed to testify at Appeal Hearing. The subpoenaed was not accompanied by the per diem and mileage as required, so the service is not valid (according to one of your attorneys previously). What do I have to do to legally NOT appear at this hearing?

Accepted Answer
Thanks for your question.they cannot enforce the subpoena.I would suggest advising the party that subpoenaed you that you haven't been paid and won't be appearing here. You are within your rights to do so.
This should be the end of it here legally,The parties are presumed to know the rules and requirements here. They cannot do anything to you for nonappearance.
