Question

Hi, I'm 14 weeks pregnant and I'd like to know if the baby gets hungry inside the womb. I'm trying to eat at 3 hours apart but sometimes I can't. That means when I get hungry the baby too? Am I starving my baby? Thanks

Hello,
If you are eating 3 hours apart you are doing just fine. The baby technically does not get hungry - but gets straight nutrition from what you eat through the blood transfer of nutrition across the placenta, namely glucose and other nutrients. YOU are NOT starving your baby - just keep a good weight, drink plenty of proteins, take your prenatal vitamins and eat plenty of protein.
