Thank you for the quick reply. Yahoo! has made it so that only paid users can use the pop client. There is a way around this though, the answer is the open-source application YPOPs! which runs in the background and simulates a browser to provide an interface via POP to download your email into a desktop client.

Important Note: This utility most likely violates the Yahoo! terms and could potentially result in your account being terminated, so use at your own risk. If you are worried about this, you can get POP access with Yahoo! Mail Plus for $20 / year.

If you would like to continue and install Ypops! do the following:

There’s no configuration needed to get things started, just click the link below to download YPOPS!. Now when you click on the link and it opens another window click on ypops-win-0.9.7.3.exe

-->Download YPOPs!<--

Once that is downloaded then open your mail program and change the incoming and outgoing mail server addresses to 127.0.0.1

Hmm.....either have my account possibly terminated, or pay $20/year. I think I'll stick with the free version.

Thank you for the quick reply. Does that mean you are just going to use it through mail.yahoo.com in internet explorer or are you going to try the YPOP application?
