Greetings.
Videonystagmography (VNG) is often used in the evaluation of a patient who presents with dizziness (vertigo) and uses the vestibular-ocular reflex to indirectly measure vestibular (inner ear or balance) function. VNG tests for nystagmus (eye movements) use infrared light and video technology to monitor eye movements during testing. Abnormal eye movements may denote inner ear balance problem. But it is to be remembered that this test alone is not very conclusive for the specific diagnosis. It just can show inner ear problem, which may relate to balance and dizziness. With your CT scan being normal, the abnormal movements of the eye are not likely to be related to the brain or to neurological problem.
Please feel free for your follow up questions.

Hello,
Nystagmus or involuntary jerking of the eye is very less in healthy/normal people. In people with balance problem (due to inner ear problem / Ménière Disease), this jerking is significant.
It is pleasure and privilege assisting you.
