Question

2 part question: 1)How do I find and download (rip?) music to my computer that I can use in Power Point presentations? I am not doing any Power Point for business/commercial reasons. I am in a Senior Computer Class (60+ and we do not have mp3 or ipods) and we are trying to do anniversaries, birthdays, memorials, etc. 2) I was able to work with some of the available sounds on my computer and finally able to get it to loop through my slideshow, HOWEVER, when I saved the file to my flashdrive or tried to send it to another student via email, the slide show worked, but no music? Thank you very much, Janice Giddens

Hi Betty Lou. I'd be happy to help you. To find MP3 files you can use a website like : http://beemp3.com/ (As a disclaimer, ensure you aren't violating anyone's copyrights on the music.)

 

2) If the sound file is less than 100 KB, then the music will be in the powerpoint, but if it is a bigger music file, you'll need to email the music file with the powerpoint. If they download it to the same location, the file will play as it is linked.
