per Statute: 25 Pa. §§ 2501(a); 2511(a),(b) 42 Pa. § 6302, can a parents rights, birthfather lives in Florida but the venue is here in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, be terminated on the grounds of not paying child support for the last 16 months, less one payment in June of this year to avoid going to jail?

Generall no, while failure to provide support is listed as one of the basis of the termination of parental rights, the support referenced is not only monetary support. The support referenced encompasses all forms of support such that it is apparent that the parent has abandoned the child.

So, while it is listed as a reason, it's more of a contributing factor. It has to be part of an encompassing picture rather than something that, by default, can be used as a trigger to terminate rights. Correct?
