Hi there
Are you looking for possible causes for your pain?
Can you tell me what all they have ruled out so that I won't be typing and giving you info you already know?
Ok, thanks for the reply
The first thing that came to my mind is a conditions called Fibromyalgia. It causes widespread body pain. The pain is treated, but typically not treated with pain pills... Lyrica is used for Fibro. It is different than the typical 'pain pills' you might be used to. You can read more about Fibromyalgia here. Fibromyalgia causes joint pain and tenderness, fatigue and sleep disturbances and also depression. Fibro has also been associated with other chronic diseases such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. The cause is not fully understood, but being under the care of a Rheumatologist has helped personal friends of mine who had very similiar symptoms as yours. They tested her for RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis), Lyme disease, connective tissue disorders, thyroid, etc etc. Once she went to see the Rheumatologist, they tested her for Fibromyalgia and she began treatment. I'm not this what you have, but your symptoms sound very suspicious of Fibromyalgia and if you been through all the other testing, it might be time to see the Rheumatologist for the testing.
If you do decide to go this route, I wish you luck and hope you get a handle on your pain and begin to feel better soon.
