my 100 lb rottweiler was 'snuffing' some D-con.. maybe he ate a few of those little blue pellets.. not sure, this just happened... I know it wasnt much, but still. worried for my boy.

Hello. Thanks for writing in. I get concerned no matter how much of this actually ingested. I wouldn't take any chances with this. Rat poison is very deadly if left untreated. I would induce vomiting with 3% hydrogen peroxide given orally. For his size, it would take about 7 tablespoons (larger spoon). It may take 10-15 minutes to vomit. If you see all the pellets in the vomit, he will most likely be fine. Afterwards, I would take him to your nearest veterinary emergency clinic to get activated charcoal and get started on Vitamin K to counteract the poison.
