Question

i have pulled the thermostat and it still looks like the coolant is not flowing, the over heating was ther before i changed the pump. iknow the head gaskets are good.

the overheating problem was ther before i changed the pump, and i have pulled the thermosstat and it still looks like the coolant is not flowing through the system

thanks!

if you have removed the thermostat and replaced the water pump and it still overheats, then your radiator must be clogged. place your hand on the radiator when the engine is hot. if it is cold anywhere on the radiator core, it's blocked and will probably have to be changed or taken to a radiator shop and cleaned. a conventional flush will not clear it out if it's blocked to the point of restricting coolant. On this simple engine there really isn't much else to go wrong!
