Hi XXXXXXXXXX,

Yes, the Canon Pro 9000 is compatible with Apple I Photo.

I have used a similar printer to what you have already tried (Epson Stylus R200) with the same result. Please be rest assured that the Canon Pro 9000 will work.

You have Mac OS X. Canon offers three different driver you can use depending on which version of OS X you are running:

Pro9000 CUPS Printer Driver Ver. 10.26.0.0 (Mac OS X 10.5/10.6)
pro9000osxcp102600ea8-2.dmg
10.26.0.0
11.45 MB
09/07/2009
Pro9000 Printer Driver Ver. 4.8.7 (Mac OS X 10.2)
pro9000osx487ej7.dmg
4.8.7
7.56 MB
06/22/2009
Pro9000 Printer Driver Ver. 7.14.0 (Mac OS X 10.3/10.4/10.5)
pro9000osx7140ea8-2.dmg
7.14.0
8.97 MB
