Thank you for using just answer.

Is the tire covered under warranty?

How big is the hole the nail or other object came out of?

What did the service rep say?

Reply

Tire only warrantied if defective, which it wasn't.

Very small hole - Two boards with nails were outside our garage and my husband ran over one also. The hole was so small they didn't plug - only patched.

The rep said that Porshce doesn't recommend plugs or patches. I had no recourse since I don't have run flats or the tools to remove the tires and put on the temporary tire. Had to call their free tow that only takes the car to a dealership.

Accepted Answer

Okay porsche may not recommend plugs or patches but there is nothing wrong with it.If the hole is little like you said it will be fine.I just think they want some extra money. If you have no run flat tires i would put a plug or patch on it and it will be just fine. You do not need to buy a high dollar tire for a small pin hole.
