Question
Is there a difference between an alignment a Porsche dealer will do and one performed at a normal tire place? Porsche was quoting me $489 vs 99-150 for anywhere else.

Actually No. As long as you go to a reputable shop that can perform a "4 wheel computer alignment" there shouldn't be a difference. The computer that performs the alignment has all the info programmed into it for just about every make and model on the road today. The only difference is that the Porsche Dealer has to pay their Techs a ton more money becuase they are Porsche certified.
