I was working in HP Photosmart Essential 3.5, using the find feature and all my pictures disappeared and will not come backup on the photo page. they are in the computer and the Home Page shows that they are there somewhere. What have I done and how do I fix it?

Hi,

Next to "Find" click the Down arrow image

This will bring up a listing of drives on your computer

Navigate to the folder your pictures are in

Double click on the folder and select "Add to Library"

If that doesn't work click "Import Pictures" and then navigate to the picture folder and try that

Wen you talk about "find" are you talking about the "find" at the bottom of the Photosmart Essentials screen. If so, clicking on the error does nothing. The Library on the Home Page shows 600+ photos, however, when you click on it, the screen where the photos should be shows that there are "no photos." Clicking import did not bring up anything either.

Ok it sounds like the library is corrupted then. Uninstall the program and then redownload the latest version:
