OK.. that makes a LOT more sense.. Laughing

Anyways, you will need to have the codes read that are turning that engine light on. There is no way to do it without a scanner, either. At this point I will have to refer you to the Auto Parts store.. most of them will read the codes that are turning on the engine light in hopes of selling a part. But don't buy anything from them yet, unless it is something obvious.. Instead I need that code.. It will look like P0123 or similar, and then will be able to get you pointed in the right direction. Maybe it is only something like a loose connection from the repair they did with the transmission.. I hope it is something that easy.. but truth is, there are about 1,000 different reasons for that light to come on, and if I were to try o take a guess as to what the problem is without knowing the codes, it would be a bit arrogant and irresponsible of me... So.. let me know the codes!

If I have been helpful so far, please click Accept, so I can get credit for helping you and (of course) after that if you need anything else just let me know... but I NEED to know the codes to go into any kind of detail.
