Accepted Answer

Hello; Thank you for responding. The formula that you list is likely a good formula for promoting heart health; however, as for actually rejuvinating heart muscle, I would be skeptical. True myocardial rejuvination is not something that is easily achieved. Currently, there are some promising studies being conducting using stem cells; however, we are still years away from true heart muscle rejuvination. Traditionally, when there is a myocardial issue, treatment options are usually geared toward perfusing, maintaining the muscle, and preventing further damage. In your particular case, do you have a particular injury to your heart, such as a previous heart attack? Was your bypass done before there was any real injury to the heart? Do you have any hypertrophy? Or any other issue? I think that your regimen is likely very heart healthy; however, your symptoms, the shortness of breath, fatigue, and irregular rhythm, although absent now, should have been investigated by a cardiologist. At this point, if you have taken yourself off of your medications without provider direction, I would advise you to consult with your provider. I would be more than happy to discuss your current situation more indepth. In particular, your cardiac history and medication history. If you are interested, please let me know. Lisa
