How much fun that must have been to witness...For a dog that young, violent vomiting is certainly going to take something out of him. Let's hope the large worm load that he threw up does in fact settle his stomach until you can get him in for a good deworming and exam tomorrow. The key will be ensuring his hydration. If he hasn't been able to keep any water down and is still unable after throwing up all those worms, then you may have to seek some help tonight. If you can get him to take some water (small amounts like 1/4 to 1/2 an ounce) several times (4-5 over the next 4-5 hours) without throwing up, he should be OK. I would also add some sugar or even maple syrup just to keep his blood sugar up (not a lot, about 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon 2-3 times tonight) if he can't keep down solids like canned puppy food.

If he is wobbly and unable to hold up his head or looks dazed and confused, low blood sugar may be a factor here. Check the color of his gums just above the upper fang teeth. The color of the gums should be nice and pink and moist to the touch. If you put slight pressure on the gums with your thumb, the gums should blanch pale then almost immediately return to a nice pink again. This would be a good sign that he's not in need of immediate help. If his gums are pale, dry, and he is very lethargic, then attention should be paid tonight to ensure you don't run into trouble simply by waiting.

Don't expect to get results by giving him Pepto or any over-the-counter vomiting remedy, it will likely just make him throw up. If you aren't convinced that waiting is safe, always err on the side of caution and get him checked out. It wouldn't be the first time your emergency vet saw a puppy for worms.

Hope this helps.
