i have a 2004 ford escape it runs good but get super bad fuel economy. it has new plugs and air filter. any help would be great

no the light is not on and its getting around 12 to 15 mpg on the freeway

Well a lot of poor gas mileage can be caused by ethonal gas. It takes a toll on fuel mileage. Tire pressure should also be set correctly to factory spec (in the door jam) Also oxygen sensors are the modern day tune up and should be replaced. If the throttle body has not been cleaned i would clean it,

it just had new oxygen sensors put in and throttle body is clean with new airfilter

went to colorado, also changed mass air flow sensor, plugs ect

If the aligment is off or the tires are underinflated it can make a big difference
