Question

I have to write a letter to a European Philosopher. In the letter argue that this philosopher is incorrect in his or her view about a particular issue. I don't need the whole paper, I just need help with starting it. I really am having an issue with this class and I know if this helps I will be using this site often. I guess it has to be around 700 to 1000 words. This is for UOP, PHI/105 Version 3

I just received my grade on this paper and I did not follow it to the exact key, I used this as a guide. I am not happy with the report that I got from my instructor, I failed this assignment because Hobbes is not a European Philosopher. Why would you give this information to somebody and know that it is not a good paper? I don't think that I will refer this site to any of my friends or use it myself ever again!

Hello Joiedee,

I am sorry you were not happy with your answer. I can assure you that this is an A paper that I provided.I used this paper for my own philosophy class and received a total score of 100/100. Hobbes was born in America but his philosophies are that of European philosophies. I would dispute this with your instructor. Here is the rubrics I received for the exact paper that I provided you as a model:

Again, I am so sorry that you were not happy.

Thank you,
Brittany

I am currently in the 7th week of my philosophy class and I felt the same way about my teacher. He marked me off 28 points on the first powerpoint assignment saying I didnt grasp the concept but refused to give me a reason as to what I didnt grasp. Philosophy teachers just like to be difficcult I guess. I would really never offer a customer any paper that I felt was not going to result in an A. I definitly think you should address the instructor on this assignment. Good luck and please let me know if I can help in any way.

Thank you,
Brittany

I am sorry for the misunderstanding. I do have to tell you that I did a little more research and found that Hobbes was an English philosopher not a European philosopher. I just want you to know this so that there is no confusion in the future.

Thanks so much for your help Brittany

By the way I know what you meant by philosophy instructors must like to be difficult. I really don't like this class and I surely do not like her.

Joie
