YES!! Thanks for taking this on. My Mazda3 has about 100000 km on it and this problem has just started over the past month or so. I turn the key in the ignition and it only lights up the dash and the headlights and sometimes the radio really faintly. I try about 10-20 times and same thing! I leave it and then bome time later it starts the first time. I'm worried this is the start of a much bigger problem and I need a reliable car.
Also - no clicking sound when the key is in the ignition
