Dear XXXXX,
Under normal circumstances, taking out money out of 401k or other such qualified plans DO NOT affect your unemployment benefits. Only current and regular earnings affect it.
I hope the above helps...
Regards,
What kinds of things constitute "abnormal" circumstances? And, is there a publication that you're aware of that can give me more information?
Thank you!
By "normal Circumstances" I meant that you DO NOT get affect by withdrawal of 401k and other such qualified plans.
I meant that you may be subjected to early withdrawal penelties subject to you being under 59 and half years. But again, it do not affect your unemployemnt.
You can contact the nearst EDD office from http://www.edd.ca.gov/Office_Locator/ for documentation help.
