Yes, you can file a small claims action against him for the money that he owes you. You would need to provide proof as to the amount that he owes you and the printed emails, text messages and receipts could be used as proof. Additionally, if he has caused damages to your home, you can also add that in as a separate count for reimbursement for property damage.
Georgia calls their small claims courts Magistrate courts and they are limited to claims under $15,000.00. You can have an attorney represent you and ask for the costs to be included in the award or you can file yourself.
