Hello,
There should be two low point drains on this unit. One for the cold water lines and the other for the hot. You can open these to drain the system . Open all of the faucets and hold the toilet flush valve down for a minute or two. Most of the water will drain but it is a good idea to fill the system with RV antifreeze or blow out the lines with compressed air. This will insure that any pockets of water are evacuated from the system. I prefer the blow out method over the antifreeze as it is sometimes hard to get all of it out when putting the system back in service. You also want to add antifreeze to all of the sink drain traps or blow them out with air. You can buy a blow out plug for less than five dollars that screws in to the city water hookup. Just use a few psi of air. Too much air will compress the check valve in the system which will not allow any air to get in. You will be able to hear the air at each faucet if you have the pressure right.
Relieve the pressure (if any) on your hot water tank by opening the relief valve then remove the plug at the bottom of the tank and let it drain out. There should also be shutoff valves on the back side of the hot water heater. Leave them open until you have finished blowing out the system. Once drained, close the water valves for the water heater and use some teflon tape and re-install the plug. This prevents critters from making a home in the tank.
As for the low point drains, look under the RV for side by side tubing extending below the chassis. The usually put them in a cargo bay or inside near the water pump. There will also be a single drain on your fresh water tank. It should be drained as well. After it has drained, run the pump for a few seconds to make sure that it is free of water.
If you want to add antifreeze to the lines, let me know and I will assist you with that method.
Thanks for the question,
Ronnie
