Question

When I switch from Low beam to high beam the high beam will not remain on. The lights return to the low beam mode.

You need to assure the headlight knob on the dash is turned on (I believe pointing up on this model) in order for the high beams to lock.
Even though the vehicle may have DRL/Auto lights on, the knob must be "On" to allow the high beams to lock on.
Then just give it a solid pull towards you and the second notch it should lock in.

The suggestion worked, with an exception. The headlights Auto/On is in the right hand position.( 1 o'clock on the dial position) The pointing up is the parking light position. Thanks.
