Hy.

Why do you think you have overproduction of adrenaline??

Have you done a blood work and urine examination for Adrenaline metabolites ? Does it reveal high concentration?

I have had bloods done and yes the levels are very high but my doctor wasnt very helpful. I am planning to see an endocronoligist next month. I just wondered if I was clutching at straws using cortibal

Accepted Answer

Can you tell me , who prescribed you Cortibal?
Its not the cure for your condition. Its a herbal remedy for decreasing cortisol. You want to decrease adrenaline, not cortisol.

I advise you not to self medicate with doubtful medications.
Please consult an endocrinologist to rule about Pheochromocytoma.
Its a tumor arising from the adrenal medulla , and produces high amounts of adrenaline.
The diagnosis is by measuring catecholamines in a 24 hr urine sample.

treatment is by surgical removal.
Cortibal has NO role here.
