1999 isuzu amigo dtc codes po171 and po174 what are my most likely causes tps sensor mass airsensor orboth

Hi mobileauto,

 

 

 

The tps would not cause these codes . The mass air flow sensor is highly likely to be the cause. You can watch the short and long term fuel trims if you have a scanner. They will tell you what the computer is doing as far as leaning or enriching the fuel mixture. I would clean the mass air flow sensor and see if it corrects the problem. Otherwise look for a vacuum leak or low fuel pressure.
