g5 lockout due to new password which i did not put in and I can not delete orchange

tried to get to boot from osx disc and hit appleS on startup: says disk is read only then I get :/ root# then cursor moves across screen and after 10 or so lines fanspeed picks up and cursor keeps rolling across screen

It's ok I fixed it myself after about 2 hours of trouble shooting turned out there was a wireless keyboard still connected to mac but not being used was in box and something was touching 1 or more keys inputing the password all the time.. thanks anyway and do I get the refund of $36 back on my Visa??
