How much glue is needed to put down 144. sqare yards of carpet without padding? How much would it cost in labor to install 144. sq yds of carpet glued down?

You can expect in the range of $5.00 - $6.00 per square yard for the installation of the carpet. That is assuming there is no old carpet to remove and no furniture to be moved and reset.

The amount of glue that is used depends upon how generously it is applied. The proper application of carpet glue will get you about 125 sq. ft per gallon. This would require about 10 gallons for your project.
