Question

1993 town car intermittent atart problem.New crank & cam sensors. Has fuel pressure and spark.Tried eec and msf sensors. When it won't start, injectors not firing.Any ideas?

Answer

It seems like if the injectors dont work intermittently there could be a bad groundin fuel system. Also the speed sensor can cause erratic behavior. There also a chance the fuel pressure reg could be faulty. I am going with those being the top three things possible.

Danny, In my question I stated that I had fuel pressure,spark,and air when it does't start. I also stated that cam & crank sensors had been replaced. I'been checking fuel system wiring for days hoping to find broken wire or loose ground. This is very difficult without a fuel system wiring diagram. All this has been done since I paid two shops almost $600.00 to look for the problem. I'm not a mechanic by trade, but am an electrical engineer and I have suspected wiring or sensors from the beginning If you will tell me where I can for sure obtain a fuel system wiring diagram, I would appreciate it and release your fee. I also suspect the security system could be the culprit but ,again, without wiring info, difficult to troubleshoot.

Danny, I tried to view seven blank panels received. Tried the allpro web site and it tells me i can get the diagrams for 26.95. I can see where you tried to send them so I will give you an accept when you reply, even though I have gained nothing from "ask the expert" ray
