Question

Unable to open emails & attachments on Outlook Express that are in the Microsoft Office Power Point Viewer format.If I save the document in "my documents" I can then open them.If I try & open them directly fom Outlook I get an Automated message to do whatever in my file folder Marvin Kamloops Canada

can you click start then open the Power Point Viewer program and let us know what version it is by clicking help then about.

Looks like I have two programs 2003 &2007

Ok,

 

Can you click start then control panel and click folder options.

 

From there can you click the file types tab and scroll down the list to find pps. and ppt.

 

When you find them can you click change to both and choose Microsoft Office Powerpoint Viewer 2007 as the default program then save your changes and reboot.

 

After you reboot acan you tell me if your files will now open from your email.
