My 1994 Chevy S10 transmission shifts through all the gears fine. But seems to slip in 3rd gear and OD when under load (going uphill, attempting to pass, etc) it does kick down in gear, just slips, revs go up but not w/appreciable speed. Pretty sure the clutches may be worn, however is it possible a new torque converter would help? 4.3l & 2 whl drv.

good afternoon I am gentry314 If you replaced torque convertor it ould not correct a slippage issue the appropriate action must be takent to address the slippage soft over haul probably no hard parts just seals and clutch disc
