I have removed the ignition coil but the mounting bracket does not have bolts to remove the coil from the mounting bracket. Do I drill or drive the pins holding the mounting bracket on?

Answer

Hello I will help you with your question,

You will have to drill the heads off the rivets so that you can change the coil. Most replacements come with new bolts to mount the new coil.

Let me know if you have further questions about this

Thank you

Do I drill them out or can I grind them off?

Accepted Answer

Either way will work you only need the bracket as you are replacing the coil. I always drill the heads off rivets but if you have a grinder handy that will work as well
