Question

I'm having an issue with my coolant light showing up. Car is a 2004 Saturn Ion 3. I had a shop run a diagnostic on it and told me that "my float was stuck in the overflow bottle." Now it's a been a while since I've had this explained to me, so I've since forgot. What exactly does this mean and what part am I replacing?

Sounds like you are going to need to replace the Coolant Level Sensor. It is located at the bottom of the coolant resevoir surge tank.
