Info Request

Hello,

I am sorry your dog is having trouble.

Are her vaccines current?

What medicines were prescribed?

Do you use any rat bait in your yard?

Is she still sneezing blood?

Does she have any bruises on her belly? Gums? Inside her ears? (will look like red dots or splotches)?

Let me know and I will try to help.....

Accepted Answer

Thank you for the additional information. It sounds like your dog is responding to the medicines that the vet prescribed. I am glad that there is no more blood from the nose, because it can indicate a blood clotting disorder (which can occur in cases where dogs have ingested rat bait). If the bloody nose comes back, or if your dog stops eating and starts to act like she feels badly, have her seen right away. Otherwise, keep a close eye on her and continue her medicines as directed. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. If this has been helpful, please hit the green accept button. Best of luck with your dog, I hope she feels better soon :)
