Question

Environmental pollution caused by historical dumping into the ocean. I want a map of the location of the Santa Cruz CA area (Not Davenport) in Wilder Ranch vacinity of the into-ocean burn dump site which was closed ~1930-1940 ~80 years ago. There was a goverment stoppage on dumping into the ocean at this site where there had been dumping for many years previously. I'm ONLY interested in this site and it's exact boundry locations. It would also be desireable to know the closure details and history around this site ONLY (NOT Davenport CA) with dates and actions against it's pollution or cause for closure. Provide further data investigation resources if available.

This is really close to what I want but isn't exactly there yet. The maps don't show or the description doesn't say exactly where the ocean side of the dump was located.

The closest was the link www.clwmb.ca,gov that you gave but it needed the EA report of geographically where the cleanup work was done (ie between Hwy 1 and ocean...where?) I'll copy the part that points to the information I want as follows:

Wilder Ranch Burn Dump attachment 4 Santa Cruz county, Project description: Past winter storms caused severe erosion that allowed burn ash to enter the ocean (where exactly?). During high tide the waste is in direct contact with the water (where exactly?). Accordin to the EA (look here) the site operated during the 1930's and 1940's as a burn dumpfor solid waste. (This is the site location I'm looking for to study but it touches the ocean where exactly?). Good job so far, any chance you can find it in words on a report somewhere with the details of the removal??? Just let me know and I'll accept. Thanks, XXXXXXXXXX
