Question

can't see a second sata hard drive that I just installed. windows wizard said that it was ok, but how do i mark it so that I can format it in win XP.? Hard Drivw is a WD 500 GB. Thanks.

Hello,


You will need to partition and format the drive before it can be accessed as a separate drive letter.

For that, Click Start button

Type diskmgmt.msc in the Search bar and press Enter

Locate Disk 1, right click and select New -> Partition. Follow the onscreen instructions.

When completed, you will find the drive in My Computer as a separate drive
