I will try to skype tomorrow with the reinstall & get back to you to accept if it works - if not we try something else.

If you plug in with the cable directly into your router or modem and its faster then your have internet connection issue and you won't need to reinstall your webcam drivers.

Answer

like i said for testing purpose plug in laptop network cable directly into the wifi router and see the difference in performance. Next test is plug the camera directly into usb port on the laptop and see the difference in performance. It is process of elimination.
Take your time and see you tomorrow, I am going to sleep.

Answer

Sounds good, let me know how the those 2 test goes. Once you will see better performance without one or other device, means the device is a bottleneck.

Mark, I think the re install worked. Called my daughter who lives in Italy & all went well. Will remember to try the other two options if I have the problem again. Thanks for your advice
