I'm trying to downgrade my HP550 Op system from Vista Home Basic to XP PRO, It starts to install all the drivers and as it gets to the end of it a blue screen come up and says some thing abotu erros.. Have you any idea what i can do ? I have tried 9 times now.

Can you tell us what errosr you are receiving?

 

Is it something about cannot find hard drive?

I can not remember if i try it and come back will i be able to contact you again ? If this helps i call the company i got the laptop from and they told me to go in the BIOS and go to SATA and then go to ACPI and disable it.. But there is nothing that as ACPI the SATA i tryed that and it didn't work.. My system wouldn't start at all.
