When replacing a garage door, how inportant is it to, also, replace, the tracking? The tracking seems in very good condition and have had conflicting comments from the garage door people. thank you.... XXXXX@XXXXXX.XXX

If the tracks are in good shape and not loose, and the height where they curve overhead matches the height of the new door, and whe wheels of the new door fit correctly into you existing tracks then there is absolutely no need to replace the tracks.
