abroad in China need medical advice on what medication i should get from a chinese medical shop?? noticed yesturday that i have some sort of discharge coming from my penis, a yellow type liquid, not alot but just alittle. it doesnt smell either. i have no pain at all. what are you thoughts?

yes unfortuanatley i had unprotected sex over the weekend. no excuses....
and no i don't know what sort of antbiotics are available.

Well, here are the antibiotics that are recommended for gonorrhea and chlamydia coverage.
Cefixime 400 mg (one dose) PLUS either zithromax 1 gram (most tablets are 500 mg) one dose OR doxycycline 100 mg twice daily for 7 days.
I am not sure if you can get these in China over the counter.

what size tablets? as in how many mg??
plus i am all on my own, i dont speak chinese, so for me to go to hospital or doctors would be a nightmare

Cefixime treats gonorrhea only.
400 mg tablet, one dose.
To treat chlamydia, you would need azithromycin.

ok i have my medicine
cefixime tablets - 0.1g diamond shape tablets. 8 in a pack. they recommend i take 2 a day 1 every 12 hours??
and i was given azithromycin x2 a day 12 in the pack...(circular shape)
can i take both these togther?
your final advice needed.

Ok, the cefixime dose is 400 mg so you need to take 4 of them at one time and that is it. That covers gonorrhea.
As for the azithromycin, you will take 4 of them at one time (equals 1 gram) and that is it. That covers chlamydia.
If you are allergic to penicillin, by the way, you should not take the cefixime.
No sexual activity for 7 days.
If symptoms persist, you will need to see a doctor.
