i want to get this straight!!
the engine will not crank over at times
or
the engine cranks and does not start at times?
please let me know so i can direct u in the right path
IS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON OR OFF !!!
MAKE SURE!!!!!
KEY ON ENGINE OFF!!!
IS THE CLOCK READING THE CORRECT TIME OR DOES IF READ WRONG?
PLEASE GET BACK!!
OK GOOD!!
DO U HAVE A TEST LIGHT ?
WAS ANY WORK DONE TO THE VEHICLE RECENTLY?
no I don't have a test light the only work that has been done is a new battery and igintion switch.
THE REASON IS THIS THAT I WANT U TO TAP INTO THE START WIRE AT THE STARTER TO MAKE SURE THAT U ARE GETTING POWER TO THE SOLENOID!!
BY LOOKING AT THE LIGHT WILL NARROW DOWN SOME POSSIBILITIES!!!
ONE EASY THING I CAN RECOMMEND IS TO CHECK THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE TO THE TRANS HOUSING AREA REMOVE THE CABLE CLEAN THE END TO THE TRANS AND TAKE OUT THE TRANS BOLT AND CLEAN THE THREADS AND RETIGHTEN THE CABLE
NOTE WHEN HOOKING UP THE CABLE TO THE BATTERY PLEASE HAVE THE IGNITION KEY IN THE ON POSITION SO THE THROTTLE BODY CAN DO A SELF LEARN!!!!
so do you think when the wire gets wet it causes it not to crank, because it only happen when it's raining, damp or a little wet out. Or very early in the morning but buy noon when the sun comes out it cranks everytime
HIGH RESISANCE CAN CAUSE THAT !!!
TRY THE TEST LGHT FIRST AND CLEANING OF THE BATT CABLE GOUND POINT FIRST AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE GOING ANY FURTHER
