I have a vw GTI 2003 and water started leaking from the ceiling. I wondered if it has anything to do with the sunroof.

Already Tried:
Some said there should 4 tubes for draining at 4 cornors on sunroof but I found 2 holes at front cornors instead of tubes and tried to clean up with cable. But so far no luck. Please help!!

The sunroof drains often fall off the cassette and cause the water leak that you are describing.

What part do you mean 'cassette'? And how do I fix the problem.

The sunroof cassette, it is what the glass moves in there is a drainage system for it. The headliner must be removed.

I still have no idea the solution. Can you describe from 1 to 10 to complete the job?

Answer

The covering of the ceiling must be removed to reveal the rubber hoses routed to the sunroof.
