Hello,
Are you asking what to do to reduce your anxiety, decrease your depression and improve yor mood? What type of counseling did you have and for how long? Did you take medication. When I get some of the data I can then answer your question.
Sincerely,
alph LMHC
I am asking how to oversome some of this anxiety...Idid individual counseling for 1 year and couples therapy for 3 months..currently still attending. For like a day I feel better after talking to them, but I have terrible nagging feelings about how unhappy I am..and I am not moving past this. I have taken no drugs.
I need to admit they I have been taking on some odd behaviors..like avoiding going home, being a bit more sexually agressive and unfaithful. I am just concerened and cannot get control of things.
The type of therapy you had makes a big difference as there is a therapy that is especially designed for depression and anxiety. Did you have CBT?
Ralph LMHC
All counseling is not the same: In CBT you learn new ways of thinking and acting which result in new ways of feeling - less anxious See

CBT is an evidence based effective treatment!
