I have been treated for bladder infection for a month. I have a vaginal discharge that is brown & sometimes blood and small clots. what do you think it is?

Already Tried:
Three different antibiotics. I have been examed by my GYN doctor. He says he can't see anything wrong. the discharge is a medium brown and sometimes it is blood with a few small clots.

HI and thank you for your question. If you have already been to your GYN did he offer any ideas of what it may be? A chocolate cyst, caused by endometriosis, is characteristic of the symptoms you describe. The cyst is formed when endometrial tissue bleeds, sloughs off, becomes transplanted, and grows and enlarges inside the ovaries. As the blood builds up over time it turns brown. When it ruptures the material spills over into the pelvis and onto the surface of the uterus, bladder, bowel, and the spaces between.
