I attended Kaplan College in Las Vegas, NV on workmans comp I have completed all but 58 hours of externship which is 6 days of work. and they will no longer help me to find a place to complete the course. Workman's comp payed $9,400.00 dollors for this education. Do I have any legal recourse against the school. I can sent a complete history of the problem on e mail if you need it

I will not get a certification of completion (diploma) and I will not be able to work in the health field without it. They are depriving me of making a living for 6 days of internship

I understand, but if the University has not been paid they have a valid defense in not permitting you to complete the program.

They have been paid in full three months before the completion of the course. And second at a meeting with the Director of Education, she advise me that they would find me an other location.

No, Intership is going out into the field and working for a company. We are required to do 160 hours of on the job trainning. I have completed 100 hours and need 60 more for complettion.

ok, and you want to sue the university because you feel the university is not being helpful in securing your internship? what has the school done thus far? I am asking because whether they have made a reasonable effort determines your ability to file a successful claim.

sir is there a way I can e mail you a letter that I'm sending to the workman comp people the letter is very detailed and will answer all the question that you have.

Ok, I was told after a review by the director that they would find me an other site., I called her in the morning and late afternoon to see if she had found something for me. Her answer was always, "No one has called me back" She know my time expired on this past Sunday.
