Can liver disease cause a false positive in failed thc test? What can I do? I am to be fired for failing drug test.

Hi, and thank you for your question. Yes, it can. Here is a list of medications and diseases that have been proven to cause a FALSE positive in a THC drug test:

 

Dronabinol (Marinol), Ibuprofen; (Advil, Nuprin, Motrin, Excedrin IB etc),Ketoprofen (Orudis KT),Kidney infection (Kidney disease, diabetes), Liver Disease,Naproxen ,(Aleve)Promethazine (Phenergan, Promethegan)
Riboflavin (B2, Hempseed Oil)
