Hello,

It's best not to move the babies until they're about 10 days old. However, if the bedding has become wet or excessively dirty, you'll have to clean before then. Coax the mother away from the nest with a treat, then put her in a separate cage where she can't see her nest. Remove the dirty litter all a ound the nest. If it's necessary to take out the nest in order to remove all the wet bedding, try to disturb it as little as possible. Put the nest and babies back in the original location. Fill in the rest of the cage with clean bedding. Then return the mother to the cage.
