Hello,
Take a can of carb cleaner or wd 40 and spray the intake manifold gaskets and see if the idle changes while spraying......looking for a vacuum leak to start here.
Thanks,
Joe
I had a guy say that it could be the idler server body. How well can I trust that?
There is nothing called that there is an iac idle air control valve however it would be not really related to this exact problem the way you have stated it. You can try removing it and cleaning it, however I beleive you have a vacuum leak.
The iac is the larger of the 2 sensors on the throttle body.
